Samsung Appoints Marco Chisari to Lead its U.S. Semiconductor Innovation Center and Foundry Business

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a world leader in advanced semiconductor technology, announced today that Samsung has hired Marco Chisari as executive vice president of Samsung’s Semiconductor Innovation Center (SSIC) and Foundry Business in the United States.

Mr. Chisari will bring his expertise in investment banking and purchasing, with a special focus on the semiconductor industry – an area where he has gained over 25 years of experience with global Fortune 500 organizations such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Mubadala, GLOBALFOUNDRIES, JP Morgan and STMicroelectronics.

Mr. Chisari will have responsibilities for leading SSIC’s corporate development initiatives and expanding Catalyst Fund’s portfolio, as well as foundry operations at Samsung’s U.S. subsidiary, Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. (SSI).
